Andrew Danielsen

Andrew has been painting for the past fifteen years, and is a self-taught artist/ painter. Andrew is skilled in a variety of other arts including drawing, sculpture, and illustration. Andrew went to The University of Vermont for Environmental Studies. Since college Andrew has pursued his art on the west coast with much success. "Most of my work is inspired from nature, the places I live, and the overlap of nature and human landscapes. I draw a great deal of strength and calmness from the natural world and its complexities, which I try to represent in my work. One of the main themes in my paintings is the time of day. I’m constantly impressed and at awe of the colors, light and shadow that appear as the sun is setting. I try to capture...
